Doun Gallery is an creative consultation and visual media production company founded in 2025 by Kaya Ugorji. Inspired by the likes of Kendrick Lamar’s PG Lang and Solange’s Saint Heron, the platform aims to share the creative ideas, designs, and projects of Kaya Ugorji, while simultaneously building a space where art and culture are discussed, and creatives are celebrated. 

With a background in visual art and design, and a passion for photography, music, and the dramatic arts, Kaya has always considered herself to be a multidisciplinary artist, refusing to confine herself to one way of expressing her creativity. She sees Doun Gallery as a way to stay connected to her love of the arts and storytelling. She believes the arts are a pivotal part of our culture that must be kept alive by discussing art frequently, and with intention.  While Doun Gallery is partially an outlet for Kaya’s creative projects and ideas, the company also aims to encourage community building and collaboration. Doun Gallery incorporates a blog initiating discussions on art and design, as well as creative resources, and sponsored pop-up events for fundraising and/or networking.
